On March 12, 1887, Galimzhan Ibragimov, a Tatar writer, philologist and public figure, Hero of Labor, one of the founders of modern Tatar literature, was born in Sultanmuratovo, Sterlitamak district, Ufa province.

As part of the Galimzhan Ibragimov Days, the Ishli Rural Library held a local history hour for school students. The children learned that the author had created dozens of short stories, novellas and novels. The works have been translated into many languages of the peoples of Russia. He was even called the titan of Tatar literature.
