Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, is currently on a working visit to the Rostov region. During his visit, he familiarized himself with the Tatar cultural center.

Mr. Shaykhraziev greeted the attendees of the meeting and presented the program of his working visit, highlighting the projects of the World Congress of the Tatars.

Imam-Akhun Muhammad Hazrat Bikmaev, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Rostov region, also addressed the audience.

The Rostov regional Tatar cultural center was inaugurated in 2002. In 2019, during a formal meeting between Vasily Golubev, Governor of the Rostov region, and Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, a decision was made to construct a new building for the center.
