The Russian Islamic Institute (RII) and Kazan Islamic University (KIU) will host an Open Doors Day on December 15.
The event will be attended by Deputy Mufti for Education, RII and KIU Rector Rafik Mukhametshin, RII Vice-Rector for Academic Work Marat Gilmanov, KIU Vice-Rector for Academic Work Ramil Hazrat Gizzatullin, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Commission Rim Kamalov, and heads of departments.
Representatives of the Islamic universities will provide detailed information about the admission procedures for the 2025-2026 academic year, available areas of training, introduce guests to the institutions, and answer questions. Future applicants and their parents will be given a tour of the institutions’ buildings to familiarize themselves with their infrastructure and teaching conditions.
The Russian Islamic Institute offers training in the areas of theology, linguistics, and journalism. Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs are available in all these areas. Additionally, there is the option of distance learning in theology.
Kazan Islamic University offers training in the direction of “Training of Ministers and Religious Staff of Religious Organizations” in the profiles of Islamic Sciences and Quranic Sciences.
