On 23 November, the “Evening of Tatar Poetry” was held in the Krasnodar Tatar community “Bulgar-K.” Participants of the event, young and old, read poems with awe and pride, conveying their immense love for their homeland.
The event was held in one breath. Like the nightingale’s voice, Elena Bykova, Honored Artist of the Krasnodar Region, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, and former soloist of the Kuban Cossack Choir, performed a song and captivated everyone around her.
At our holiday of the soul, the works of great Tatar poets were read by the participants. The participants also performed poems of their own composition, which made a vivid impression on everyone present. This speaks of the participants’ attraction to and love for their native Tatar language, culture, and history. The author Gulnaz Gazizova read her works and presented her collection of poems to each guest.
Every year, more and more listeners come to the literary evening. The interest of people of different ages, from 2 to 95 years old, the connection of generations, and the unity of spirit created an extraordinary atmosphere – the world of poetic Tatar slogan.
