On December 19, the “Kaz emese” holiday was held at “Tatar Gymnasium No. 65 named after Gazi Zagitov”. It is an ancient Tatar ceremonial tradition. In late autumn, residents of Tatar villages come together for the collective processing of goose meat, down, and feathers. According to tradition, on this day, goose meat is prepared for storage, and down is plucked to make pillows, which are included in the bride’s dowry.
During the holiday, Tatars gather for social evenings, interact, and sing songs. “Kaz emese” reflects the unity and mutual support of the people, bringing everyone together.
The event was marked by lively dances, songs, and engaging contests.
Special guests attended the celebration, including representatives of the Tatar Congress and Timur Anisovich Muryasov, a leading specialist from GUNO.
The holiday was fun and cheerful.
