As part of efforts to preserve and promote Tatar heritage in regions across the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan and the World Congress of the Tatars provided educational materials free of charge to schools in the Novosibirsk region where the Tatar language is taught. This initiative was carried out in 2024.
The “Regional Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Novosibirsk Region” (RTNCA) facilitated the distribution of these materials to rural schools in areas with long-established Tatar communities.
Among the materials sent from Kazan are photocopies of world-famous works of visual art and posters featuring the Tatar alphabet. These visual aids will be incorporated into the educational process, helping younger students to familiarize themselves with the Tatar culture and allowing older students to deepen their appreciation of it.
The RTNCA of the Novosibirsk Region expresses its sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars for these valuable gifts! Such cooperation contributes to the preservation and development of Tatar culture while strengthening interethnic harmony and mutual understanding.
