On January 11, corresponding to the 11th day of Rajab, the grand opening of the Quran study center took place at the Central Mosque of the Arsky district, located at 38a Galaktionova Street, Arsk.

The event was attended by notable figures, including the Mufti of Tatarstan, Kamil Hazrat Samigullin; the Chief Qadi of Tatarstan, Jalil Hazrat Fazlyev; the Executive Director of the Cultural Promotion Foundation under the Rais of Tatarstan, Nuriya Khashimova; the Head of the Arsky district, Ildus Nuriev; the Head of the Quran Hafiz Training Center at KIU, Abdurashid Hazrat Faizov; and the Director of the Kazan Muslim Madrasah named after the 1000th Anniversary of Islam, Ilyas Hazrat Ziganshin. Religious and community leaders, elders, imams, and benefactors also took part. The speakers expressed hope that the new center would serve as a hub for learning and enlightenment for years to come.

Construction of the center began on July 11, 2023, and was completed in under 18 months thanks to the support of local residents, district authorities, and the Muslim community of Tatarstan. The center is designed to teach Quran studies and deepen residents’ knowledge of the Holy Book.

The day also marked the inauguration of the “Chishma” spring near the Gabdunnasir Kursavi Mosque in Arsk, which was renovated with the help of worshippers and benefactors.

The Arsky Muhtasibat currently oversees 94 mosques and employs 138 instructors who teach the fundamentals of Islam. The Gabdulla Tukay Spiritual and Educational Center, established three years ago, now educates 150 students under the guidance of 17 teachers.
