On February 5, Danis Shakirov, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, paid a working visit to the Krasnodar Region. During his visit, he participated in a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and hosting of “Southern Sabantuy – 2025”.

The meeting was also attended by Ravil Nogumanov, Chairman of the Board of the International Federation of Keresh (Belt Wrestling) and Head Coach of the Russian national Keresh team in Sochi; Mikhail Afanasyev, Head of the Zelenodolsk District; Nikolay Byzin, Deputy Head of the Zelenodolsk Municipal District; Rainur Khasanov, Chairman of the World Forum of Tatar Youth and a member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan; and other officials.

The meeting was chaired by Galina Moskaleva, Deputy Head of the City-Resort of Sochi in the Krasnodar Region. The discussion focused on organizing events dedicated to “Southern Sabantuy – 2025”, a national Tatar holiday scheduled for May 3, 2025.

Participants addressed key aspects of the event, including logistics and infrastructure required for a successful celebration. They also emphasized the importance of ensuring comfortable conditions for guests and participants, including the arrangement of event venues, road infrastructure, and security measures.
