Danis Shakirov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Council and Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, as well as a Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, is on a working visit to the Chelyabinsk Region.

On February 21, he met with the Deputy Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, Roman Vollert. Also attending the meeting was Lena Kolesnikova, Chairwoman of the Executive Committee of the Congress of the Tatars of the Chelyabinsk Region. The discussion focused on reviewing past projects, assessing achievements over the past year, and outlining future plans.

Both sides acknowledged the significant progress made in implementing cultural initiatives aimed at supporting the Tatar community in the region.

Danis Shakirov emphasized the importance of cooperation between different levels of government and national organizations in preserving cultural heritage and enhancing the quality of life for the Tatar diaspora. Deputy Governor Roman Vollert reaffirmed the region’s commitment to continued collaboration and support for projects that strengthen unity and contribute to the development of the Tatar people.
