On 7 March, speaking at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the holiday of 8 March is a good reason for expressing words of gratitude and best regards to all women.

“I congratulate our dear women with the coming international holiday of 8 March. By your love, care and wisdom you make our lives better and brighter. You are the source of inspiration for us, men,  keepers of family values and traditions. On the eve of the holiday I wish you good health, happiness and prosperity,” he said.

The Rais of the republic informed about two events to be held to in the Kazan Kremlin and the Kamal Tatar Theatre to commend women who have made a big contribution into the development of the defense industry.

“Heads of cities and regions must ensure holding all events at a high level giving special attention to mothers, wives and daughter of participants of the special military operation,” he emphasized.
