VII Interregional open ethnographic and local history readings named after A.M. Ishimbaev held in Kasimov

The VII Interregional Open Ethnographic and Local History Readings named after A.M. Ishimbaev were held at the L.A. Malyugin Central Library in Kasimov. This year’s readings were dedicated to S.K. Shakulova, a distinguished native of the Ryazan Region and a professor of mathematics.

The event was organized by the Kasimov Local Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Ryazan Region and brought together participants from various regions of Russia, including academic communities, public, national and cultural organizations, local historians, and students. The event was held in cooperation with the L.A. Malyugin Central Library and with support from the Regional Ministry of Territorial Policy, Administration of the Kasimov Municipal District, Republican Resource Center for Supporting Socially Oriented Non-Profit Organizations (Kazan), the Committee for Work with Tatar Local Historians of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation, and the Federal National-Cultural Autonomy of Tatars.

Participants discussed key issues related to the preservation of the spiritual and cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia. They emphasized the importance of research in local history and the need to expand knowledge about the history and culture of our homeland. Special attention was given to the importance of new projects in this field.

The organizers expressed confidence that only through joint efforts can we preserve our heritage for future generations.
