On December 7, 2025, a bright and meaningful event took place in Perm — the 11th Festival of Sunday Schools of National and Religious Organizations.
The Festival became a true celebration of interethnic and interfaith unity, as well as a living tribute to the heroism of the peoples of Russia during the Great Patriotic War. The year 2025 is a special year for Russia: it has been declared by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir V. Putin, the Year of the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.
The main goal of the Festival was patriotic education of the younger generation, strengthening ties between generations, and preserving cultural diversity through the lens of shared history.
As part of the Festival, guests and participants were offered a rich and diverse program, including a creative concert, 10 master classes showcasing the cultural heritage of various peoples, an exhibition of children’s drawings, and interactive areas featuring board and outdoor games as well as a dance площадка.
The Festival placed special emphasis on family values. Parents actively helped their children prepare performances and took part in master classes, creating an atmosphere of true teamwork and unity.
The event left all participants with vivid impressions, a sense of pride in their country, and a deep understanding of the value of interethnic harmony. The Festival became a significant event in the cultural and public life of Perm, demonstrating that the themes of patriotism and historical memory unite people regardless of age or nationality.
The Festival was held as part of the municipal program “Public Harmony.”
