Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Vasil Shaykhraziev, met with the head of the Federal Service for Accreditation (Rosaccreditation), Dmitry Valeryevich Volvach.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the accreditation of the Halal Committee of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan, as well as the development of halal product manufacturing in the republic.

They also raised the issue of the active participation of the World Congress of the Tatars in the work of a dedicated section on halal products within the framework of the Kazan Forum, which is scheduled to take place in 2026.
