On January 5, 2026, the town of Kukmor will host the 11th All-Russian Festival-Fair of Folk Art “Kukmor Felt Boots”. This vibrant winter celebration, which has become one of the main cultural brands of the Kukmor District, will be held with the support of the winter festival “Kurshe”, the Administration of the Kukmor District, and JSC Kukmor Felt and Valenki Factory.

The heart of the festival will be Komsomolskaya Square, which will turn into a real town of craftsmen and artisans. Guests will enjoy a large fair featuring the famous Kukmor felt boots, handmade goods, and local souvenirs. Visitors will also be able to taste national dishes, take part in felt-making workshops, and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of traditional winter folk развлечения.

The festival will be energized by a rich sports program. Teams from various districts of Tatarstan and regions of Russia will compete in creative and sporting contests. The traditional “Football in Felt Boots” tournament will bring bright emotions to participants and spectators alike and will become the highlight of the sports program.

The day will conclude with a grand festive concert featuring creative groups from the Kukmor District, popular Tatar pop artists Razil Kamalov and Rafina Ganiullina, as well as the ethno-music group ABIEM PROJECT. The entire celebration will be hosted by the charismatic presenter Ruslan Gilmutdinov.

The “Kukmor Felt Boots” festival is a meeting with living traditions, folk art, and the warm atmosphere of a true winter celebration. Everyone is invited to share in the joy of this event!
