A round table titled “We Must Live and Remember,” dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Doctor of Historical Sciences Aislu Sharipzyanovna Kabirova, was held at the Sh. Marjani Institute of History of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences.

The event gathered all those who remember Aislu Sharipzyanovna – colleagues, friends, and family. Their memories were shared by R.G. Gainetdinov, L.R. Gabrafikova, I.Z. Zagidullin, V.F. Telishev, S.I. Ionenko, D.M. Usmanova, R.M. Nigmatullina, E.N. Daricheva, S.I. Nikonova, M.M. Gibatdinov, A.G. Gallyamova, and I.I. Khanipova.

Many warm words were also spoken by fellow historians from other cities – R.R. Khisamutdinova, O.A. Koshkina, and L. Bolokina.

During the round table, a presentation was held for the book “Victory Calendar: Tatars and People of Tatarstan during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945,” created by staff of the Institute’s Department of Contemporary History and dedicated to the memory of A.Sh. Kabirova.
