On November 17, the troupe of the Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater named after Karim Tinchurin went on a tour to Germany with the play "The Picky Bridegroom".

Today in St. Petersburg, the VI International Cultural Forum, a unique cultural event of the world level, a discussion platform attracting several thousand experts in the field of culture from all over the world began: the stars of the drama theater, opera and ballet, outstanding directors and musicians, public figures, representatives of government and business, academic community.

From  November  11 to 14 the troupe of the Kazan Tatar State Theater of the Young Spectator named Gabdulla Kariev will perform in Bashkortostan.

Shooting the first film-fairy tale "Hydyr-dede" based on the Crimean Tatar legend ended in the Crimea.

Regional National-Cultural Autonomy of the Sakhalin Tatars held a creative evening "Pushkin and Tukai" by Chekhov's book Museum "Sakhalin Island". It became one of the components of the Day of National Unity.

September 29, 2017, at  the Berlin creative cafe "Message in a bottle" the guys from Yummy Music will introduce Europeans to modern alternative Tatar music.

In the Great Reading Room of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan  a book exhibition has  opened from the funds of the Department of Manuscripts and Rare Books "The First Tatar Professor", dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Tatar historian, writer and critic Gaziz Gubaidullin ( 1887-1937).

From July, 18 till  22,  in Barnaul  city   the All-Russia festival "Shukshinsky days on Altai" will   take part.

On June 17, the House of Culture of the 17th district of Budapest with great success hosted another presentation of the book  by  one of the classics of Tatar literature, Ayaz Gilyazov, "Let's pray" ("Yegez, Ber Doga")
