Following the Tatar tradition of hospitality, everyone was treated to sweet chak-chak, and the children had the chance to try on traditional costumes for photos.

The Chairman of the National Council expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani Tatar Youth Center “Yashlek”, which organized this important event.

Vasil Shaykhraziev emphasized that Tatar public associations in Azerbaijan work as a united whole.

Its goal is to engage participants in creating communication platforms for Tatar youth and to inspire project ideas that benefit young people.

Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the longstanding friendship between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan has been facilitated by the warm personal relationship that existed between Heydar Aliyev and Mintimer Shaimiev.

During the conversation, the Rais of Tatarstan also shared his impressions of the Free Economic Zone and added that the republic could supply agricultural machinery, petrochemical products, oil and gas, compressor and refrigerator equipment and car tyres to Azerbaijan. 

Vasil Shaikhraziev spoke of the work done by the World Congress of the Tatars in 2024, congratulated everyone on the coming New Year, and wished them good health and wealth.

A formal event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War is scheduled to take place on 18 December 2022.

The event was attended by scientists, descendants of Tatar murzas and princes, journalists and representatives of the Tatar public.

The event was dedicated to the contribution of Bukharans to the history of Western Siberia.
