The new school will be named after the Hero of the Soviet Union

In the Year of Remembrance and Glory, the schools of the Pestrechinsky district will be given the names of outstanding compatriots who distinguished themselves during the years of World War II. This was announced at a meeting of  the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan  by  Head of the region, Ilham Kashapov.

In the framework of the International Mother Language Day in Moscow  flowers at the Tukay monument   to be laid

On February 22, at 13:30, a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the great Tatar poet G. Tukay will be held in Moscow. The event will be held as part of the celebration of the International Mother Language Day. It was proclaimed by the UNESCO General Conference in November 1999 and is celebrated annually on February 21 to promote linguistic and cultural diversity.

Kazan honors memory of outstanding poet Fatih Karim

Kazan honored the memory of the outstanding Tatar poet Fatih Karim. A solemn meeting with the laying of flowers at the memorial plaque at the house number 8 on Mislavsky St. was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the death of the poet in World War II. It was from this house on December 30, 1941 that Fatih Karim went to the front.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation arrived in Nizhnevartovsk on a working visit

On February 18,  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation, Riad Haddad, arrived in Nizhnevartovsk on a working visit. According to the Department of Public and External Relations, he became a member of the third international scientific and practical forum "Oil Capital".
