The field meeting in Pokachi strengthened cooperation among Tatar organizations in northern Russia and reaffirmed the community’s commitment to preserving Tatar language, history, and culture far from their historical homeland.
Vasil Shaikhraziev spoke about the purpose of his visit, after which he gave the floor to Mansur Khazrat Djalaletdin, who arrived in the region with humanitarian aid.
During the discussion, participants addressed issues related to preserving national culture, expanding opportunities for studying the Tatar language, and organizing joint cultural and educational projects.
The visit includes meetings with representatives of Tatar public organizations, where participants will discuss issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the preservation of Tatar identity, and the development of educational initiatives.
Representatives of the World Congress of the Tatars, led by Irek Sharipov, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee and Head of the Committee for Work with Regional Branches in the Republic of Tatarstan, paid a working visit to Nurlat.
