The 7th All-Russian Conference “The Tatars of the Urals. Tatar Settlements and Outstanding Figures of the Tatar People in the Iset, Sinara and Miass River Basins: History and Modernity” has opened in Kazan.
Today, 20 November, as part of the program of the International Conference “One Ummah – One Destiny”, delegates and honored guests visited the White Mosque, where they performed the zuhr prayer.
As part of the celebrations, participants will discuss pressing issues concerning the Muslim ummah, the preservation of spiritual heritage, the development of religious education, and international cooperation.
The forum program and its key events were presented to journalists by the Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, Danis Shakirov.
The conference was also attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars and Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, Danis Fanisovich Shakirov.
This large-scale initiative, organized to spark interest in learning the Tatar language, brings together compatriots who care about the preservation and development of the Tatar language.
Holding the “Tatarcha diktant” in Tashkent highlights the commitment to preserving and developing cultural diversity, strengthening ties between peoples, and passing the values of the native language on to future generations.
