Uzbekistan is home to more than 130 nationalities and ethnic groups, including Tatars. On June 9, 2024, Tashkent hosted the national Tatar holiday - Sabantuy.

The event will take place on July 20-27, 2024 in a tent camp in Bolgar. In total, it is expected that more than 100 people from  Russia will come to it.

The region that will officially host Sabantuy will be announced on June 15.

In Dakar, in the “Vema” gallery, an exhibition of Tatarstan graphics opened

The event was organized by the Federal National-Cultural Autonomy of the Tatars.

Original works in Tatar language written no earlier than 2022 are accepted.

Tatar national holiday Sabantuy will be held in regional centers and settlements on 8-9 June, in Naberezhnyye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk on 15 June and in Kazan on 23 June.

Rustam Minnikhanov wished everyone happiness, peace and prosperity and asked the Almighty to protect our great Fatherland.

Residents of the Republic of Tatarstan aged 16 years and older are eligible to take part in it.
