Today in “Korston” a plenary session of the 10th Forum “Business partners of Tatarstan ” took place. The meeting was held in two parts with a break. Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan has attended the second part of the meeting.

Opening the plenary session, the Board Chairman of the World Congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov explained the importance of the Forum and noted that businesses are the backbone for the national and cultural prosperity of our people, because of their support for activities carried out on a regional scale.

To date, it is important to preserve the native language and culture and one of the elements of the identity of the Tatar people – their religion. To preserve the unity of the people, the government of the republic is trying to hold regular meetings in the regions of Russia and abroad “, – the President said.

At the end of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Gratitude from the RT President to entrepreneurs for maintaining an active business ties with Tatarstan.

It should be noted that this year’s forum “Business partners of Tatarstan” was attended by about 600 delegates from 52 regions of Russia and 23 countries of the near abroad. For the first time the event was attended by representatives of the Republic of Tuva, the Stavropol region and delegates from France, Italy, the Netherlands, Georgia.
