In Tatarstan, 80 young families have received grants to hold weddings in a national style. This was announced by the Republic’s Minister of Youth Affairs, Azat Kadyrov, in an interview with “Tatar-inform” editor-in-chief Rinat Bilalov for the “12th Floor” project.

“A total of 80 families have received such grants. The project received a broad response in the information space and was positively received by both the youth community and professionals. Our colleagues from other regions have shown active interest in this idea of ours and asked about how to implement it,” he said.

Kadyrov emphasized that when speaking about national weddings, it is not only Tatar and Russian traditions that are implied. Tatarstan is a multinational republic, so the national elements of any people are welcomed.
