80th anniversary of the literary and musical lecture series at the Tatar State Philharmonic

The Tatar State Philharmonic celebrated the 80th anniversary of its renowned literary and musical lecture series with an evening filled with heartfelt memories, sincere congratulations, and magnificent music.

The event took the audience on a journey through the rich history of the lecture series — a project that has seen many transformations and has been home to remarkable individuals who made invaluable contributions to the development of musical art. Among them were Emil Zalyaltdinov, Naziya Terkulova, Kamil Basyrov, Galina Petruseva, Gulchachak Islamova, Luiza Khangildina, Alfiya Zagidullina, Rauf Abbasov, Alfiya Galimova, Gali Ilyasov, Galina Lastovka, Klara Khayrutdinova, Rustam Malikov, Nailya Sagitova, Maryam Salimova, and others.

Many veteran artists whose creative lives were connected with the lecture series attended the celebration — both in the audience and on stage.
Performances by Rustem Abyazov, who captivated listeners with a brilliant rendition of “Täftiläw”, accordionist Nazip Badrutdinov, and masters of the spoken word Margarita Spetsloz and Talgat Yusupov became the highlights of the evening’s concert program.

The current team of the lecture series also boasts outstanding talents. Among them is Georgy Ibushev, an artist of the highest caliber who has dedicated more than 40 years to music and is now a recognized poet. His stunning performance of the Tatar folk song “Shakhta” deeply impressed the audience.

The lecture series is headed by Vladimir Vasiliev, People’s Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, who shared the collective’s creative plans for the season: 10 subscription series, comprising 30 different programs for audiences.

All ensembles of the Tatar State Philharmonic joined in congratulating the jubilee team.
The Philharmonic’s Artistic Director, Aydar Fayzrakhmanov, emphasized the continuity of generations within the collective, noting that a worthy new generation is carrying forward the legacy of such great figures as Zagid Khabibullin, Ayrat Arslanov, and Emil Zalyaltdinov.

He also presented republican awards to members of the lecture series:

  • Dmitry Bosov, vocalist and soloist — Badge of Honor “For Achievements in Culture” from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan;

  • Sergey Belyakov, soloist, and Maria Chernykh, musicologist-lecturer — Certificates of Appreciation from the Ministry.
