On August 2, 2025, a grand celebration took place on the picturesque shore of the Ob Sea in Ust-Aleus — the 9th International Festival “Our Roots. Made in Siberia”!
This festival has already become a cherished tradition that unites dozens of the peoples of Siberia.
This year’s program offered guests:
Vibrant performances by national ensembles, tastings of traditional cuisine, craft and language workshops, a costume show featuring ethnic attire, as well as lectures on the history and culture of the region.
Tatar organizations GBUK NSO “Novosibirsk Regional Tatar Cultural Center” and the Berdsk branch of the public organization “RTNKAO” presented several creative groups:
-
The vocal ensemble “Ak Chishmya” captivated the audience with heartfelt Tatar songs.
-
The vocal ensemble “Duslar” (led by Dinara Sabirova) gifted guests unforgettable musical moments.
-
The women’s organization “Ak Kalpak” under “RTNKANO” (headed by Alisa Timerkaeva) offered a generous Tatar table with chak-chak, samsa, and kazy — the traditional sausage was especially appreciated by the men!
-
Yazgul Nugumanova, a Tatar language teacher and winner of the “Tatar Kyzy – 2024” title, proudly presented the costume of a Siberian Tatar beauty during the national dress show.
Distinguished guests of the festival included: Yulia Shuklina — Minister of Culture of the Novosibirsk Region, Oleg Orel — Head of the Ordynsky District, Natalya Orienko — Chairwoman of the Ordynsky District Council of Deputies.
Once again, the festival proved that Siberia is a land of friendship, where every culture finds its place!
