Today a delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan arrived in the Republic of Mordovia. The guests were greeted with national treats, songs and dances.

Mordovia will host the XII All-Russian rural Sabantuy (Plow Festival). Delegations from more than 30 regions of Russia will come to the large-scale holiday in the village of Aksenovo in the Lyambirsky district.

An ethnic village, a tractor show, a petting zoo, trampolines, attractions, exhibitions, song and dance festivals, a Tatar bazaar, sports competitions and games – there will be several venues on Sabantuy where each guest will find something to their liking.

The main one is Maidan, where the opening of the festival will take place. The second site of Sabantuy is the “Festival of Festivals”, where concerts, festivals and dance flash mobs will take place.

Other venues will host the All-Russian Koresh Belt Wrestling Competition “Batyr-2022”. There is also a hippodrome for horse racing. The prize for the winners in these competitions is a car.
