On August 9, a group of Tatar scientists led by Professor Albert Burkhanov visited Yoshkar-Ola. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the details of the upcoming scientific and local history forum. The event will be held as part of the XXIV Federal Sabantuy-2024. The theme of the forum is “Tatars of the Republic of Mari El and the Middle Volga Region: history and modernity”.

Guests from Tatarstan visited mosques, museums, editorial offices and other attractions of the Paranginsky, Medvedevsky districts and Yoshkar-Ola, including the place of the upcoming Sabantuy-2024 – the hippodrome.
