A festive gathering dedicated to the Month of Older Persons was held at the Tatar Cultural Center “Dulqyn” (Wave). The event took place within the framework of grants from the administration of Barnaul for non-profit organizations to support their statutory activities. Traditionally, at the end of October, the Center hosts meetings that bring together generations of activists and Tatars of Barnaul.

“Unfortunately, with each passing year fewer people are able to attend such meetings, but we are still glad for any opportunity to reunite old friends. All the more so in this anniversary year for the organization — it is important to remember and support those who were there at the very beginning,” noted Flora Viktorovna Zinatullina, Chair of AKOO “Dulqyn” (Wave). She congratulated the veterans of the Tatar movement and the senior activists of the organization, acknowledging their contribution to the common cause.

The anniversary celebration marking the 25th anniversary of the Tatar Cultural Center “Dulqyn” (Wave) will take place on November 22 at the House of the Peoples of the Altai Territory.
