The Kukmor Muhtasibat hosted the annual inter-district Quran recitation competition for children and teenagers under the age of 15. On January 7, girls participated in the event (a total of 65 participants), while on January 8, boys showcased their skills (a total of 119 participants). Contestants came from various cities and districts of Tatarstan, including Kukmor, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, as well as the Vysokogorsky, Laishevsky, Arsky, Baltasinsky, Mamadyshsky, Yelabuzhsky, and Tyulyachinsky districts. The competition was held across five categories, with participants evaluated by specialists from the Quran Hafiz Training Center in Kazan.

This competition was the result of spiritual and educational courses organized in mosques across Tatarstan during the winter holidays. It is worth mentioning that similar Quran recitation competitions also took place in Naberezhnye Chelny and Bugulma during the winter break.
