A delegation from Tatarstan, led by the Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars, Danis Shakirov, made a working visit to the capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt — Cairo. As part of the visit, a meeting was held between Danis Shakirov and the Director of the Russian House in Cairo, Vadim Zaichikov.

The head of the Tatar delegation welcomed the hosts and spoke about the activities of the World Congress of Tatars in the field of cooperation with compatriots abroad, emphasizing the importance of projects aimed at strengthening community ties, preserving the language, and promoting national culture. Vadim Zaichikov expressed the Russian House’s interest in developing cooperation with Tatarstan and the World Congress of Tatars.

Representatives of the delegation — Lenara Kuteeva, Radik Abdrakhmanov, and Marsel Akhmetshin — also took part in the meeting. The participants discussed prospects for implementing joint projects, plans for organizing cultural exchanges, and expanding cooperation in the educational sphere.

After the talks, Vadim Zaichikov conducted a tour of the Russian House, acquainting the guests with the center’s activities, its resources, and ongoing programs.
