Today, 19 November, a press conference dedicated to the 18th Forum “Business Partners of Tatarstan” took place at the headquarters of the World Congress of the Tatars.
The forum program and its key events were presented to journalists by the Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, Danis Shakirov.
Speakers also included the Head of the Committee for Work with Tatar Entrepreneurs of the Executive Committee of the WCT and Executive Director of the World Association for Supporting Tatar Entrepreneurs, Farit Urazaev, and the Deputy Chairman of the Union “Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan,” Marat Akhmatov.
This year, the forum will bring together over 400 entrepreneurs from 10 countries and 60 regions of Russia. Participants will discuss tax policy, preferential programs, subsidies, credit policy, Islamic banking, as well as key areas of socio-economic development, investment opportunities, and prospects for cooperation.
As part of the three-day forum program, participants will take part in visits to industrial facilities and enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan. These visits aim to familiarize attendees with local business practices and industrial operations.
The forum will open with participant registration and a meeting of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars at Korston. The key event of the day will be the discussion panel “Economy of Opportunities: Tatar Business Outlook 2026,” where entrepreneurs will explore modern trends, challenges, and strategic directions for business development in Tatarstan and abroad.
On the second day, forum participants will visit the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan, where they will be introduced to the regional economic program and examples of successful investment projects. The agenda includes meetings with district leadership, visits to industrial enterprises, and infrastructure facilities.
On the third day, the central event will be the plenary session of the 18th Forum “Business Partners of Tatarstan” at Kazan Palace by TASIGO, with the participation of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan, public organizations, and business community representatives. Before the session, guests will visit a photo exhibition dedicated to the National Assembly.
The forum traditionally places great emphasis on social responsibility in business and on strengthening unity within the global Tatar community.
The event serves as a platform for supporting, connecting, and exchanging experience between Tatar entrepreneurs, fostering horizontal ties between regions and countries where Tatars live, and creating lasting business and cultural partnerships.
Special attention is given to initiatives that contribute to the development of business and Tatar communities both in Russia and abroad. Participants traditionally unite around the ideas of mutual support, preservation of cultural traditions, and the promotion of education, youth initiatives, and social projects aimed at societal development and improving the well-being of citizens.
