From August 8 to 26, six municipalities in Tatarstan will host educational sessions on physical and psychological health under the project “AYT.” The program is open to both local residents and those from nearby areas, with transportation provided. Registration for the event in each city is available at: эйтконференция.рф.
The project aims to raise awareness about physical and mental health among youth and young professionals in Tatarstan through developmental programs and interactive events. It promotes a culture of self-care, healthy habits, and the development of mental and emotional resilience. The initiative also seeks to inspire young people to lead an active lifestyle, aligning with the goals of the national project Youth and Children and the regional program Summer in Tatarstan.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with general partner Ak Bars Bank, the Academy of Creative Youth of Tatarstan, and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
“The experience of implementing interdepartmental projects during the Year of the Family last year revealed young people’s desire to create a broad community — an Institute of Parenthood with various directions. I mentioned this at the Ministry’s board meeting. Such projects allow us to engage the maximum number of current and future parents and help them gain essential competencies and knowledge. It’s especially important that these topics will be explained by medical experts in a simple, accessible way, and everyone will be able to ask questions,” said Rinat Sadykov, Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan.
The project will be held in the following cities:
-
August 8 – Arsk
-
August 12 – Buinsk
-
August 15 – Chistopol
-
August 19 – Almetyevsk
-
August 22 – Muslyumovo
-
August 26 – Naberezhnye Chelny
This format is being implemented for the first time. The educational sessions of “AYT” will take place in a festival-style setting, with multiple interactive zones, workshops, exhibitions, and quizzes. After visiting all locations and collecting marks from each, participants can enter a prize drawing featuring certificates for medical check-ups, glamping stays, thermal spa visits, sports equipment, and other health-related items.
Visitors will also be able to assess their health during the events: consultations with practicing doctors, HIV testing, participation in psychological training sessions, and more. Additional activities will include workshops on first aid, preparing light and healthy snacks, and an exhibition of programs, organizations, and information on physical and mental health, including short guided tours.
The main highlight of the event will be short lectures by expert doctors. These talks will cover key health topics with visuals and the latest research findings. Topics will include reproductive health, addiction treatment, cardiology, and nutrition. Speakers will be top medical professionals from across the republic.
As a legacy of the project, organizers plan to release podcasts featuring youth perspectives on health, video recordings of the expert lectures, and a guide with practical recommendations for physical and mental well-being — especially for the youth of Tatarstan.
