On 30 August in his address on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote:

“This day unites representatives of multiple ethnicities and confessions living in peace and concord in Tatarstan and our compatriots who serve valiantly, work and study beyond the republic. Wherever we are on 30 August this day unites us with the feeling of pride and love to the native home.”
In his address the Rais of the republic mentioned veterans of the WWII as in the current year Russia celebrated the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory and participants of the special military operation who today fight for the future of the Motherland.

“We are deeply grateful to the older generation who laid the basis of modern achievements and preserved spiritual and moral values, the cultural treasures and love to mother tongues. The youth who already is making a substantial contribution into the development of the republic are their decent heirs and the main source of our confidence in the future,” Rustam Minnikhanov wrote and mentioned all enterprises and workers of science, medicine, culture sports and agriculture who inspire people by their examples and glorify our country and the native republic.

“In Tatarstan innovation is combined with wisdom: we are faithful to traditions but also open to brave ideas and that is why we are going ahead. Achievements of the republic are the result of well-coordinated work of every one of us,” he concluded and wished every one good health, bright spirit, wellbeing and success.
