An evening in memory of the Tatar philosopher Agdas Burganov

On November 27, at the initiative of the Club of Business People – DL-16, the Moscow Tatars Shtab hosted an evening in memory of academician, professor, historian Agdas Khusainovich Burganov (1920-2018). The Elder of Moscow Tatars died in early November of this year.
At the request of the Tatar students in Moscow in November, a meeting with the scientist Agdas Burganov was scheduled at the Tatar Headquarters residence. But, unfortunately, the evening had to be held without the scientist himself, said Gulnara Yarullina, coordinator of the Shtab of Moscow.
As already noted, the event was organized by the “Club of Business People – DL-16”. According to a member of the club of business people, professor, orientalist Üldus Khaliullina, professor Agdas Burganov was an outstanding scholar of the 20th century.
“As a lawyer by education, an economist of thought and a philosopher, Agdas Khusainovich made a great contribution to the development of science. The most important thing is that he actively participated throughout his life in solving the national problems of the Tatar people, ”noted Yuldus Khaliullin.
The evening in memory of the scientist caused big interest among the Tatar public in Moscow. The event was attended by scientists, academics, professors, poets, friends, colleagues, colleagues, students, relatives, as well as chairmen and activists of Tatar autonomy, student clubs at universities in Moscow. In total, about 120 people came to honor the memory of Agdas Burganov.
