On June 2, in the building of the Kasimov Museum, the opening of the exhibition “Kasimov Tatars: Family Heirlooms” will take place.

The exposition will show objects kept by Tatar families. Many of the exhibits were collected during the implementation of the research project “Shadows of the Kasimov Khanate”. The exposition will also feature a part of the memorial collection, which came from the well-known in Kasimov Bashirovs family.

The organizers of the exhibition are the Kasimov Historical and Cultural Museum and the Department of Culture of the Spiritual Muslim Board of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition will run until June 25th.
