An iftar was held in Barda with representatives of the Tatar community of Perm Krai

On March 18th, Danis Shakirov, the head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars and Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Congregational Mosque in the village of Barda as part of his working visit to Perm Krai.

Opened in 2010, the Congregational Mosque is the second-largest and most significant Muslim religious building in Perm Krai. Built on Chugun Mountain, the Barda Mosque serves as a spiritual center for the local Muslim community. It hosts Friday prayers, and on weekends, it offers classes on the fundamentals of Islam and the Arabic language. The mosque also organizes district-level Quran recitation competitions and houses a library.

Later in Barda, an iftar was held with representatives of the Tatar community. Danis Shakirov welcomed the participants and extended his congratulations on the Holy Month of Ramadan. The event continued with a religious and cultural program.
