An open discussion was held in Chelyabinsk as part of the project “Isеnmesez?”

In a rapidly changing world, the preservation of national identity, language, traditions, and culture becomes a priority for everyone who cares about the future of their people. It was with this purpose in mind that an open discussion was held in Chelyabinsk as part of the project “Isänmesez?”, bringing together active representatives of the Tatar community, youth, and engaged participants.

The main goal of the meeting was to have an open conversation about pressing issues, share experiences, and find ways to develop the Tatar world in today’s realities.

At the meeting, participants shared their thoughts and initiatives:

  • Almaz Khaliullin, Head of the Committee for Special Projects of the World Congress of Tatars;

  • Luiza Makhmutovna Almaeva, Scientific Consultant of the Congress of Tatars of the Chelyabinsk Region;

  • Vitaliy Badretdinov, Chairman of the National-Cultural Autonomy of Tatars in Chelyabinsk.

From the very first minutes, participants noted the warm and sincere atmosphere. The dialogue went beyond formal speeches — it was an honest, lively conversation about pressing issues and opportunities. Topics included engaging youth in community life, supporting local initiatives, modern formats in cultural work, as well as the preservation of language and intergenerational continuity.
