In Bolgar, within the framework of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam in the Volga Bulgaria, the All-Russian Forum of Muslim Youth continues its work. About 200 young Muslims from 18 to 30 years old from different parts of Russia and abroad take part in the “forum of the 1100th anniversary”: Tatarstan, Moscow and the Moscow region, Orenburg, Yekaterinburg, Tobolsk and Cheboksary, Kemerovo, Penza, Chelyabinsk regions, Samara, Novosibirsk , Volgograd, Izhevsk, Perm, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Pervouralsk and other cities of the country, as well as Kazakhstan and Egypt. The weekly visiting congress of Muslims is held in the format of a tent city. The organizers of the Forum are the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education.
The Forum program includes 3 thematic blocks of events – historical, religious and project. All lectures, workshops, master classes, quests, excursions are aimed at expanding and deepening knowledge about the history of Islam in Russia, creating the necessary conditions for the personal, creative, spiritual and moral development of young people. So, today, on the penultimate day of the Muslim Congress, forum users will present their social start-ups, the projects of which are developed for the benefit of the Russian Ummah.
Well-known speakers and practitioners in the field of business, innovative solutions, social service, and Muslim education came to meet with young people and present their project potential. During the previous days, within the framework of the forum, the head of the Department of Innovative Development of K (P) FU Anton Dyganov; Candidate of Economic Sciences, business coach of the Corporate University of Ak Bars Bank, trainer-expert in the development of soft skills of the University of Talents, grant writer of the Chistopol Muhtasibat Alfiya Zabbarova told the participants about the laws of social entrepreneurship, possible risks, common benefits, the most common mistakes, reviewed cases of real successful social projects , taught how to “package” ideas in order to take part in grant competitions. And today, the Mufti’s adviser on social issues, Chairman of the Council of the Yardem Foundation, Imam-Khatyb of the Yardem Mosque Ildar hazrat Bayazitov and President of the Association of Muslim Entrepreneurs of the Russian Federation Aidar Shagimardanov joined the headliners of the Forum. They will also have to study the ideological ideas of Muslim youth.
About 100 ideas of social start-ups were presented to the experts during the week. Among them: Internet projects, film projects, educational, infrastructure, environmental, sports, charity projects, as well as projects for women, children and youth and for personal growth. Today, 17 best projects are being considered from among them in order to select the 3 best ideas that will be awarded a cash prize – start-up capital for the implementation of the project. The winners will be announced and awarded tomorrow during the closing ceremony of the Forum.
Despite the fact that the practice of selecting ideas for further funding and implementation is used for the first time at the site of the Muslim Youth Forum, over the 7 years of its existence, a number of projects initiated by members of the forum have been successfully implemented within the walls of the Spiritual Muslim Board of the Republic of Tatarstan and the mukhtasibats of Tatarstan. Thus, the most popular of them are: “School of one day” for teaching namaz and the basics of Islam, the Discussion Club, the charity event “Give life to paper” to collect waste paper in favor of seriously ill children and others.
The main goal of the Forum is to convey the values of the history, culture of the peoples of the Volga Bulgaria through scientific and educational lectures on the history of Islam in the Volga region and Russia, through excursions around the protected area of the Bulgar land. The main objectives of the forum are: expansion and deepening of knowledge about the history of Islam in Russia and the Volga region; creation of the necessary conditions for the personal, creative, spiritual and moral development of young people; preservation and promotion of health; inculcation of universal culture and spiritual values through knowledge of new historical facts about the life of ancestors; involvement in tourism, local history and other activities.
