At the Kazan park “Black Lake” the festival “Hay market” will be held

August 5, in the Kazan park “Black Lake” will open the festival of modern Tatar culture “Pechun bazaar” (“Hay market”). On the territory of the park there will be children’s, science and dance grounds, theme tours of the history of the Kazan Khanate, cognitive lectures about the life and culture of the Tatar people, as well as culinary master classes and presentation of national dishes of Finnish, American, Siberian and Astrakhan Tatars.

On this day on the site of the project “Gyilem” an open scientific olympiad “Qayyum”, a presentation of a new Tatar publishing house and the translation of the Harry Potter book into the Tatar language will be held.

In addition, everyone can take part in dance master classes “Biyu for you” and listen to acoustic music and Tatar jazz. Separate zones at the festival will be a design fair with the participation of 100 designers, a “reading park” with Tatar literature and food court.

Visitors of the event are offered to come in national clothes or with its elements.

The cultural event will be held from 11.00 to 22.00.
