The award ceremony for the winners of the Interregional Theater Festival “Idel-Yort – 2025” took place at the G. Kamal Theater. Guests of the event also had the opportunity to enjoy a performance by the Grand Prix winners.
During the evening, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Damir Natfullin and Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Danis Shakirov welcomed the guests and congratulated the Grand Prix recipients.
This year, the Grand Prix winners were:
• The People’s Theater of the Rybnaya Sloboda District of the Republic of Tatarstan — for the performance “Çikkän kül’yawlık” based on the work of Gulshat Zaynasheva, directed by Ilnaz Shakirov;
• The Dyurtyuli Tatar People’s Theater named after Zufar Sultanov of the Republic of Bashkortostan — for the play “Garmunçı dus” based on the work of Nazar Najmi, directed by Azamat Gilmanov.
They were awarded monetary prizes of 500,000 and 800,000 rubles respectively.
As part of the event, the winners of the XXV Interregional Theater Festival “Idel-Yort – 2025” were also honored and wished further success in their creative endeavors.
Among the distinguished guests were:
• Head of the Rybnaya Sloboda District Radik Islyamov;
• Kamal Theater actor, People’s Artist of Russia and Tatarstan Ravil Sharafeev;
• People’s Poet of Tatarstan Ravil Fayzullin;
• Former Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars (2002–2017) Rinat Zakirov.
This year, the festival received 20 applications. The competition included video recordings of performances by amateur theater groups from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, the Republic of Bashkortostan, and the Samara, Sverdlovsk, Orenburg, and Ulyanovsk regions, as well as the Perm Territory.
The participants’ works were evaluated by a competent jury:
• Elmira Galimova — renowned composer, Director of the Institute of Tatar Encyclopedia and Regional Studies at the Academy of Sciences of RT;
• Luara Shakirzyanova — Head of the Museum of the G. Kamal Tatar State Academic Theater;
• Irek Khafizov — Honored Artist of Tatarstan, actor of the K. Tinchurin Drama and Comedy Theater;
• Danil Salikhov — writer and playwright;
• Rezeda Gubaeva — poet and playwright;
• Ilfak Khafizov — Honored Artist of Tatarstan;
• Rauza Sultanova — Doctor of Art History.
For 25 years, the “Idel-Yort” competition has brought together theater groups from across the Republic of Tatarstan and various regions of the Russian Federation. Its main goals are to support and develop amateur theatrical creativity, improve performing skills, and expand the artistic potential of amateur actors and stage directors.
