January 17, at the school gymnasium of Bavly (Tatarstan) an enlarged meeting was held of the regional public organization Tatar women “Ak kalfak”, which summed up the results of their work over the past year.

The meeting was attended by the chairwomen – women from the local rural organizations. Activists organized an exhibition of handicraft products made in different techniques with their own hands. Here you can see paintings, embroidered kalfaks, knitted clothing, a variety of souvenirs. A special place at the exhibition occupy booklets, magazines, newspapers, telling about the activities of public organizations of Tatar women in the areas of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia.
