The “Yaktylyk” school of Samara continues to participate in the city’s socially significant action “Museum Marathon “More interesting than you think””. Within the framework of the museum marathon, the students of the 6G class of MBOU Lyceum “Constellation” № 131 of Samara visited the school.

The guides of the ethnographic museum “Miras” (“Heritage”) told the guests about the history of the museum, which contains exhibits from 7 regions: Samara, Ulyanovsk, Penza, and Orenburg regions, the Republic of Tatarstan and Bashkiria, the Perm Territory.

Lyceum students learned the peculiarities of everyday life and culture of the Tatar people. Tour guides showed men’s and women’s headdresses, footwear.

The guests learned that the pride of any Tatar house was beautifully decorated chests, and the only source of warmth and comfort was a cooker. Children listened with interest to the stories about the peculiarities of housekeeping, about national dishes of the Tatar people.
