A bust of Hero of the Soviet Union Gali Mazitov will be unveiled in Yalta on Apr. 16. The author of the bust is the famous sculptor from St. Petersburg Vinera Abdullina.

This week the feature will travel from St. Petersburg to Yalta. The issue of its installation was discussed in October 2023 between a delegation from Tatarstan led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev and the leadership of the Yalta Government.

It should be noted that the manufacture, installation of the bust and landscaping of the area around it are undertaken by the Republic of Tatarstan.
