As part of his working trip, Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, visited the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).

In Luhansk, the Chairman of the National Council met with representatives of Tatar public organizations. The meeting brought together around 600 Tatars from nine cities of the republic. During the discussion, participants addressed issues related to preserving national culture, expanding opportunities for studying the Tatar language, and organizing joint cultural and educational projects.

The attendees were also greeted by Gulfiya Kabirova, Chair of the Luhansk Regional Public Organization “Tatar Cultural Center ‘Chishmä’.” She expressed gratitude to the World Congress of Tatars on behalf of all Tatars of the Luhansk People’s Republic for organizing such a large-scale celebration and emphasized that they always feel the care and attention from Tatarstan and the Congress. She also presented letters of appreciation to Vasil Shaikhraziev and the “Agidel” Ensemble.

Flyur Karachurin, Head of the public organization “Tatar Cultural Center ‘Tang’” in the city of Alchevsk, also expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Tatars of Alchevsk, noting that the event brought everyone together as one united community.
