Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, is currently on a working visit to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

During his visit, Mr. Shaikhraziev met with members of the Tatar public cultural and educational center of Tashkent.

The Chairman of the National Council extended greetings to his compatriots and emphasized the significant role the Tatar public cultural and educational center plays in preserving the language, culture, and traditions of the Tatar community. He further highlighted the center’s contribution to strengthening cooperation between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan. Vasil Shaikhraziev also briefed the participants on the activities of the World Congress of the Tatars.

Rishat Nabiullin, Chairman of the Board of the Tatar public cultural and educational center of Tashkent, presented his projects during the meeting.

Discussions concluded with a focus on the upcoming I Sabantuy of the Alliance of Tatars of Central Asia, known as the “Asian Sabantuy.”

It is worth noting that the Aktanyshsky district of Tatarstan has been designated as responsible for organizing this event.
