Chairman of the National Council met with the descendants of Agafurovs

Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars, took part in the official part of the meeting of the descendants of Agafurovs from different subjects of Russia. The event was held in the framework of the Museum Cultural and Historical Festival “The Legacy of Agafurovs. The terms of historical memory. ” The surviving mansions of the Agafurov brothers in Yekaterinburg currently houses a museum of merchant life and a permanent representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Urals.

Today’s meeting was attended by 27 descendants of the famous dynasty. In his speech, Vasil Shaykhraziev noted that the Tatar people should always remember about such prominent figures of the nation. It is very important that the continuers of such genera are met at such events,  Chairman of the National Council stressed the importance of such events. He also raised issues  about the preservation of the Tatar language.

Vasil Shaikhraziev acquainted all those present with the activities of the World Tatar Congress, spoke about large-scale Tatar projects. Permanent Representative of Tatarstan in the Sverdlovsk region Khaidar Gilfanov thanked the Agafurovs dynasty for the preservation of historical heritage. Also, Khaydar Gilfanov said that by the decision of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the building of the permanent representative office of Tatarstan in the Sverdlovsk region will be repaired soon.

We remind you that today  Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan,  Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev is on a working visit to the Sverlovsk region. Within the framework of his working visit, he took part in the opening of the wrestling  koresh in Yekaterinburg and met with the Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region P.V.Krekov.
