Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatar Congress Vasil Shaikhraziev has met with the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in France, Alexander Turov, during his working visit to Paris. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in France Ainur Akhmetshin, Deputy Chairman of the Association of Tatars “House France-Tatarstan” Alfiya Aizatova, First Deputy Head of the World Tatar Congress Danis Shakirov.
“Our goal is to unite the Tatars who live all over the world and preserve our native language,” Vasil Shaykhraziev noted.
He spoke about the National Council, about the VI Congress of the World Congress of Tatars, which was held last year, and also noted the active participation of the Tatars in the presidential elections in Russia. According to Vasil Shaikhraziev, heads of subjects of the Russian Federation are very positive about the Tatars.
Then he told about the 5th anniversary of the Alliance of Tatars of Europe, which was celebrated in Budapest in late April. Also, during the conversation, Vasil Shaikhraziev marked that the Muslim holy month of Ramadan begins.
Separately, he stopped at the upcoming Sabantui. On June 16-17, the national holiday will cover the regions of Tatarstan, and on June 23 it will be held in Kazan. Also, the Federal Sabantuy and All-Russian rural Sabantuy will take place.
According to Alexander Turov, he has great respect for the Tatar people.
