In Astana, the first time, the city held a Tatar holiday “Chak-Chak Bayram”.
The event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan, has turned international, gathering representatives of different ethnic and cultural associations of the capital. The program was rich and interesting: in a cozy concert and exhibition hall of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in the framework of Chak-Chak Bayram a master class on cooking chak-chak from the company TatFood was held, tasting delicacies, the action “Min Tatarcha syulyashyam” ( “I speak Tatar”), an exhibition of arts and crafts and headwears “Tatar motives. ”
