The annual Tatar wrestling tournament was held in the village of Shygyrdan, Chuvash Republic. The opening of the championship, dedicated to the memory of the internationalist warrior Minhaider Valitov, awarded the Order of the Red Star, was held under the auspices of the chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic, Mansur Hazrat Khaibullov.

Organized jointly by the Society of Internationalist Warriors and villagers, the tournament continues the tradition of honoring heroes and strengthening the spirit of sports in the region.
