November 29 , at the initiative of the Tatar Public cultural and educational center of Tashkent, a children’s competition on knowledge of the Tatar language, culture and history of the Republic of Tatarstan was held.

The program of the competition consisted of basic knowledge of the Tatar speaking on the theme: “Introduction”, “Welcome”, “A story about yourself,” “My family,” “My address”, “How is my day,” “House and Home Furniture” “Tableware”, “Vegetables – fruit,” “The colors and clothing,” “Body Parts”, “Seasons, weekdays, months, and word of this topic”, “profession”, “Products”, “Menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, “” Compliments “. Also, a compulsory program included performing any song or poem in the Tatar language.

The contest on the knowledge of the Tatar language prepared and conducted by the Honored worker of the Republic of Tatarstan, a leader of the circle on studying the Tatar language for children, Tatar-Bashkir editor programs on TV and radio channel “Toshkent”, a member of TOKPTS Tashkent – Raihhan Mannyapova.

Questions about the history and culture of Tatarstan was prepared by a historian – a senior fellow at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the board of TOCPTC Tashkent – Rinat Shigabdinov.

Children were presented with souvenirs.

At the end of the contest participants and members TOCPTC sang a song by G.Tukay – “Tugan Tel”.
